London, Ontario - The 2016 edition of the Western Ontario Soccer League's Premier Division is slowly coming to a close. With four out of the possible five months of play in the books, all ten teams of the top division are preparing themselves for their final matches in September. For some clubs such as Marconi, Jagiellonia, AEK Olympians, Croatia, and Tillsonburg, they have done enough. Their tickets are stamped for the 2017 season and will now coast towards the finish line. However, there is still a large number of teams that are separated by only a few points from table positions 6 through 10. These clubs will be fighting in close quarters during the remaining month of the season and there will no doubt be a few heated affairs and exchanges. If there are any clubs who consider themselves "late season bloomers" - this would be your time to shine.
The final whistle on the 2016 season will blow on Sunday, September 25th.
