On behalf of the Housing Stability Services Team at the City of London, we thank you for all your efforts to solve homelessness. For your information, please note: The Middlesex-London Health Unit has issued a Heat Alert for Tomorrow, August 12, 2021.

 

London, ON –The Middlesex-London Health Unit (MLHU) is reminding everyone who will be out enjoying the summer weather to take the necessary steps to reduce the risk of heat-related illness. With the current Environment Canada forecast calling for hot temperatures and high humidity, the Health Unit is issuing a one-day Heat Alert. The expected high of 31º Celsius today and a humidex reading expected to reach 39, meet the MLHU’s criteria for issuing the Alert. The Alert will come into effect Thursday, August 12th until Friday morning as temperatures are expected to remain above 20º Celsius overnight.
