WOSL Premier Report: June

London, Ontario – The Western Ontario Soccer League’s Premier division has seen its fair share of quality soccer over what is considered one of the busiest months of the soccer year. All sides have settled into their respective form and have now reached the mid-way point in the season.

The early table statistics have been thrown into the trash as the new table of June emerges. At the top of the table there is a clear clash of the titans as Jagiellonia, Marconi A, and Croatia A have created some distance between them and the rest of the table. It is worth mentioning that Marconi are the only team to remain perfect with a 6-0-0 record after June.

The AEK Olympians, the Sting of Wallaceburg, and St. Thomas A have clogged the middle and are looking to keep one step ahead of those who fall below them. Not far in the distance are spirited outfits in the English and Chatham Express. Both clubs are looking for a prosperous July in order to keep pace with the middleweights and stay above the knockout zone.

At the bottom of the table, one sees some refreshing improvement from America Pumas. The Pumas have had a statistically positive June and are looking to continue their upward trend. A surprise at the bottom of the table as Tillsonburg A has, for the moment, taken the tenth and final spot in the table.

A total of 25 games were played in the month of June. Below are the compiled numbers for what was a competitive month in the WOSL Premier Division.
